Foy's Grill is an old-fashioned little place. It's great for a made-to-order breakfast and the daily blue-plates are homemade and pretty good. My favorite thing to order is the fried bologna sandwich - full of cholesterol but so reminiscent of growing up in the 60's.
Chantilly Cream at 407 W. Main is a place I used to frequent - I think it is still there? It is a small, casual and yet elegant enough place to take a friend and do lunch. It has nice sandwich plates that include a choice of decadent desserts.

I LOVE Ticket's greek potato salad. The Radio Grill (mmmmm, homefries) and Chantilly Cream (mmmmmm, cakes) are both nice, but I am never able to remember/get to them when they are open, because thier hours are so odd. Giovanni's...good food....horrible service. I was treated so badly there by the head waiter, I swore I would never go back, and I haven't. I go to Roush's for the salad. They have excellent ranch dressing. I don't care for the ambiance there, so I get my food to go. I think Fairborn needs another late night non-bar spot. Would be nice.

Just tried Saya on Kauffman in Fairborn. Great! Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. Don't let the location fool you. This place is high end for Fairborn.

Saya Japanese on Kaufmann is impressive, food and atmosphere-wise. Try it and spread the word.

Saya has the best food. It is located on Kauffman next to Clark. Price is great too. STaff is very friendly. They out of their way to speak to us and make us feel like old friends.

I like Roush's for the good old comfort food they serve, and the owner Mike is very friendly. They have a sandwich made with ham and pineapple that is outstanding.
And of course Foy's has the best breakfast in town.

Has anyone been to Saya on Kauffman yet? It's at the old Chobing Inn location. Very classy! Good food. A hidden gem.
