Tell me what you think about the site. What do you like? What don't you like? What would you like to see? Jeff I'm really glad to see a place where we can talk about things in Fairborn. The Fairborn Paper has become all surrounding city news and they won't put any editorials in. This is a good place to talk about things (not in a demeaning way) but to get things out in the open and express opinions and hear from other people what they think. I hope people will open up and talk about things that matter, our city, our people, our kids. |

I've heard other people complain about the Fairborn paper that it isn't enough of a home town paper any more. But newspapers are struggling and young people aren't reading them like we did. I guess we have to be happy there still is a Fairborn paper.

Hello fellow Fairbornites, I was shocked to see no one writes anymore! I think the site is good but it is time to color it up. Fairborn needs to clean up a little and make its self the quaint town that it should be. We have a lot of history here just like the pages show and our small Main,Wright,Grant and a few of the other streets should reflect just that . Mike Foy should get rid of the neon paint . He is well know for his halloween stores from here to as far as 3 states away in any direction and people will come even if the stores are not neon. It makes our town look bad! People should start to tell him. tammy cherry

Great website! I agree with robinohiogirl that it would be nice to have captions under the pictures, especially for those of us whose families have been here for generations and people/places look so familiar, but we just can't place them. I'll be recommending this site for my classmates as our 35th reunion will be coming up next summer.

Jeff....regarding the Picture of the Week (Bath Consolidated 39 Football)....top row, far left is Fred Buschmeyer, who I'm sure was their coach. He was the Assistant Principal at Fairborn High School for many years.
