Tell me what you think about the site. What do you like? What don't you like? What would you like to see?

Good website overall.
- I'm not a fan of the "Click to make ### your homepage". - Counters really don't mean anything. - Upcoming events are ok, but if you are not dilagent on keeping your site up to date, it poses a negative effect. (btw, you need to add Memorial Day on there.) - I like the old pictures, but I think we could use some new pictures as well. (i.e. Show what the library looked like 50 years, and have a pic of its look today.)
Keep up the good work. Ron

Ron I like counters because they give you a basic idea of how many visitors the site has had. I agree about the Upcoming Events but... it seems that our webmaster is diligent. ;D I think the new picture idea is great! Before and After would speak volumes for how much the city has changed. I am willing to take and submit some current photos if anyone is interested.

I agree that over all the site is great....and the idea of then and now pics sounds like a good one, especially with Heritage Days coming up next weekend.

A historical celebration of a city created out of 2 (just think, it could have been named Osfield. ;D Anyway, there will be several locations with different events. There will be reenactments, old time games, and garden tours. People can go to the Fairborn theatre, and see what is was like in its early creation, with period costumes, and artwork. If I remember right there also should be a old fashioned car show downtown, near the old bank, and there should be a lot of activity at the park next to the YMCA. A fun time for all.

Jeff, you did a good job. Wonderful that you could carve the time out of your busy schedule to do this! A lot of time and effort went into this I think.

Enjoy the site. Would be nice to put under the pictures what they are. I've lived in Fairborn 47 years. Still love living here, nice to get away but nice to come home. Love the old pictures. Good job.

Thanks for the kind words RobinOhioGirl. The truth is I don't know very much about the photos. They are part of a large collection that was passed on to me. They are not dated or identified. Most of them are pretty easy to figure out but many of them are a mystery. But I'm with you I love old pictures.
